Hot Water Element Replacement – Leura
Hot water element replacement and fault finding completed by CLL Electrical at a property in Leura, Blue Mountains.
CLL Electrical inspected the hot water system after the fault was initially suspected to be the thermostat. Further electrical testing identified the heating element as the actual cause of the problem.
Hot water fault finding
Testing confirmed that the heating element had failed and was heavily burnt and deteriorated.
Heating element replacement
The damaged element was removed and replaced with a new hot water heating element to restore correct operation.
Professional electrical testing
The hot water system was tested after installation to confirm safe and reliable operation. The photos show the failed, badly charred element alongside a new replacement element for comparison.
